Vigilance Wing – 29 Legendary Shards: This week, Xur is selling the Vigilance Wing exotic pulse rifle. Here is the exact location: Xur’s wares for this week Xur will be perched at the top of that cliff, ready to sell you some exotics. You’ll eventually reach a rocky cliffside, which you can jump up. Load into the Winding Cove landing zone and head straight north from there. Here’s where to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, as well as everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week. He’s now unmarked and harder to find each weekend. Previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map. We always know when Xur will show up - at the 10 a.m. Where to find Xur (September 23 to September 27) As of The Witch Queen, he now stocks legendary armor and weapons and sells additional exotic weapons with random rolls every week. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each character class. If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you should know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. I need to ram my head against the nearest enemy. They're supposed to be space magicians, but their class exotics synergize with the punching devourer, and their class ability is in a difficult spot if you're playing solo unless you're pre-empting or running Lunafaction boots (which means you're giving something else up to basically be a titan) but it's great on a team, and on top of that they don't really have a useful solar class.īut enough of this thinking. I really want to say that it's not so much that warlocks don't have a standout exotic so much as warlocks as a whole are a bit messy at the moment. I think it's a solid exotic overall, but the amount of effort you need to put into actually getting and maintaining the bonus is a lot more vs Karnsteins or WG and it's more akin to something like Rampage.Īnd of course, this is completely in the other direction from stuff like Skullfort and Actium War Rig which are basically "I do things and make you stronger". It's not just the grenade kills and melee kills that proc it, it's also the arc soul kills that contribute towards it, and with a little bit of practice i've found that i'm able to throw a grenade at a few dudes, put a few bullets into a guy, slap him to get the stack + grenade/melee/super recharge, and then immediately drop my rift and weaken and finish off a few nearby enemies to get my grenade back and repeat the process. I think Karnsteins would be better for more difficult content (Take with a grain of salt as i've not done the raid nor a nightfall because of the timer, so), but simply for the sake of ability recharge i've found the Crown of Tempests really fun to play with in easier (meditations and lower) content because you can constantly keep the buff up if you play smart.
